I want a simple low-to-the ground bed. Nothing fancy. Nothing expensive. Just a change. I'm thinking this Malm bed from Ikea might be worth a try.

We have had a Queen Malm bed for 6 years. No box springs. No foot board. Love it! If it is going to be in a place where you need to move it a lot, though, you might want to keep searching. It is heavy! Good sleep.
ive had that bed for a couple years, yeah its heavy and hard to move. but its really nice to have a low bed.
